Dermatoscopy is a safe and rapid diagnostic tool that assists clinical examination and management decisions in dermatology. It is often referred to as a dermatologistā€™s stethoscope. Dermoscopy of Skin of Colour often shares common criteria with dermoscopy of lighter skin types but also has unique characteristics and is quite challenging.
Therefore, this two-hour workshop on Dermoscopy Made Easy - A Skin of Colour Perspective, which Professor Amanda Oakley from New Zealand will conduct, will be a platform to uplift knowledge with the following outlines.
At the end of the workshop, Prof Balachandra S Ankad from India will conduct, a 30-minute quiz to review and emphasize the knowledge gained from the workshop.

Professor Amanda Oakley is the Senior Dermatologist and Head of the Department of Dermatology at Te Whatu Ora Waikato, New Zealand and an Honorary Professor at the Department of Medicine, Auckland School of Medicine. She is the creator and chief editor of DermNet New Zealand, and her areas of expertise include Dermoscopy, Teledermatology, Teledermatoscopy and Artificial Intelligence in Dermatology.
Professor Balachandra S Ankad is an Associate Professor in the Department of Dermatology at S Nijalingappa Medical College Bagalkot, Karnataka and is an expert on Dermoscopy with many publications in this field.
